Fizzy Fruit Coolers
Large bottles of club soda-chilledFavorite fruit juice-chilled
Fill a glass 1/3 full with juice; next pour the fizzy water to fill the glass ¾ 's full It’s a great tasting treat. You can make this with lemonade too. (If you want a stronger taste, use concentrated frozen juice according to your taste.)
Garden Party Tea
18-oz. jar of powdered orange breakfast drink.1 cup sugar
½ cup of powdered lemonade mix
½ cup of instant (decaffeinated or herbal) tea.
1 three ounce package of apricot gelatin
2 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
Mix- Store in a tight container
Use 1 ½ teaspoons in a hot cup of water. Serve the cooled tea at room temperature to the children.
Whipped Frosty Drink
This is a great way for non-milk drinkers to have a great tasting calcium drink.
In a blender put:1 Cup milk (soy or rice if there are allergies)
¾ cup orange juice
½ cup sugar or your favorite sweetener
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 to 8 ice cubes
Mix together in the blender until smooth. Serve at once.
You can use frozen or fresh fruit instead of the orange juice
